CK20H Won't Shut Off with Key

My 2006 CK20H will not shut off with the key. I have to use the emergency engine stop cable to shut the tractor down or cycle the lever that interacts with the engine stop solenoid by hand. The timer relay, key switch, and engine stop solenoid are not the issue, as they have all been replaced. I checked all of the fuses, and they are all correct and intact. The plug from the wiring harness that interacts with the engine stop solenoid is plugged into the engine stop solenoid.

I am out of ideas. Any suggestions or help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Same problem with my 2003 CK20H. Fuel stop solenoid stopped working year ago, been working on it since. replaced ignition switch, and solenoid, went thru all the same diagnostics myself and with a buddy. no luck. Took to dealer they had no luck, but are a little richer, ended up putting a jumper and switch in to feed solenoid, worked for two days and quit. this is busy time of year maybe this winter I'll work on it some more, or maybe not!!

Thanks for your reply. I plan on cleaning all electrical connectors. If I have any success, I will update this thread. Please let me know if you are able to figure it out.

Thank you. I have the shop manual and have tested all the usual suspects, but no luck.

If you have tested the stop solenoid removed from the pump and it works when key is switched to off then the problem likely lies in the IP. The rack could be sticking enough that solenoid is not able to move it but the mechanical stop will.

I removed the old solenoid and tested per the manual. It checked out ok. I replaced afterwards anyway, as I ran out of ideas.

By IP, do you mean the injection pump?

Yes, injection pump. The plungers are probably sticking a bit. At some point it will be a good idea to take it to a reputable injector pump rebuild shop to have it gone through. There are special tools and torque values that make injector pumps difficult for anyone to do at home. Best left to the professionals.
