I would not recommend it. Look up Dmace. He has the same tractor I think and tows it around, he can let you know whats involved.

The trailer probably weighs 600-800lbs empty. That tractor WITHOUT the loader is around 2500lbs and pushing the limits of the axle. If you back it on and put more weight on the tongue and tow vehicle then it should be ok but I still wouldn't trust it. Does the trailer have brakes? Around here, all trailers 3,000lb GVWR and over require brakes but many small trailers are rated at 2,990lb GVWR so they don't have to put brakes on them.
The shortest trailer I towed mine on was a 14ft and that was tight but I also had the loader and backhoe on.

no it does not have brakes. The haul would only be a couple miles down the road, no stops.

Just drive the tractor then. It take a hour to hitch up the trailer, load it up, chain it down, unload at the other end.

I have found if I am going less than 4 miles I do not bother with the trailer anymore.

I agree, must easier and safer. I have driven my tractor as far as 8 miles down the highway (at a whopping 11 mph) and it wasn't bad. I got a "Construction Equipment" license plate for the tractor at my town hall for $62 and it is just $50 to renew it for the year. No inspection needed just a SMV sign and lights.

Around here you need absolutely nothing to operate a tractor on the road. You can be 10 or 100. Its how the drunks get around.
