I took a CK20HST for a test drive the other day and was quite impressed, started good, ran well, seems like a solid tractor. Only thing they don't have is a front mounted snowblower at this point.
The one thing I did notice is that when you used the PTO you need to use the clutch to engage it, you cannot just move the lever into the required position. When I disengaged the rear PTO (using the clutch) there was a chattering noise, so I reengaged and disengaged a second time and still the same noise. Is this normal on this tractor.

Here is a topic about the PTO noise. I beleive it is completely normal, you are just not supposed to use the clutch to disengage the rear PTO. You do use the clutch to engage it and that is expected. I wouldn't want to just pull a lever and slam it into gear, I would rather use the clutch and slowly engage it.

They have front mount snowblowers that run a driveshaft all the way to the back of the tractor and hook to the rear PTO but for the money I have been very happy with my rear mount snowblower.

Thanks for the info. I should have done a search first. I have a front mount on my tractor that I have been using for 15 years and not fussy to go to a rear mount, just too many curves in the driveway.
