CK25 Governor Springs

Does anyone know how the two governor springs on a CK25 attach? They were accidently removed during a change of the Injector pump. The parts diagram describe them as springs 1 and 2.

I've replaced them both quite awhile ago the same time I replaced my injector pump on a CK30. Check the old thread for pics.

One spring fits inside of the other then I threaded a piece of light gauge wire through them both and through the holes in the block so as not to drop them down in there. Then using small lighted mirror and assorted wire picks I fabricated/bought managed to get it all hooked up. It was a battle...

Excellent reply Fuggley, just the info I needed, thank you! Also, thanks for the tips to prevent losing the springs deep in the bowels of the engine.

Hey good luck with it. You need the dexterity of a heart surgeon but keep at it. I fabricated a flexible spring pick out of a light wire spring similar to these.
