CK2510 engine light

My CK2510H is flashing an engine code(4 long then 4 short) this happens on start up.I set the throttle a little above idle,the tractor starts at idle then goes to rpm set by throttle on its own.I am going to call my dealer but would like to get as much info as possible.I bought it in November 2014 it has 58hrs.I would send Kioti an email but i don't think they would respond.

That is Flash Code 44, which indicates an issue with the fuel position sensor. Since the tractor is under warranty, contacting your dealer would be best. You can try, with the tractor off, unplug the fuel actuator on the front of the injection pump case. Check the harness plug and make sure it is clean, add a little dielectric grease to the connector, and plug it back in. If the actuator had a bad connection, it can cause a 44 Flash Code.

Thank You!! I called my dealer He said to bring it in and He would but a scanner on it and fix it.It is good to have some info going in.I Thank you very much!!
