I've bee strongly considering the LS XJ2025 but just got a comparable price quote on a 2510HST with FEL and BH. Heard nothing about good things with Kioti and I like the extra 600 pounds or more on the Kioti. Anybody have much experience with these? Will it pull a 5' box blade? I'm looking at road maintenance and light to medium dirt work. The BH is more of a luxury item but will come in handy.

I watched the dealer take a ck2510 HST and pull out a full bucket load of gravel from a pile at a idle. I was very impressed. I have yet to look at the LS though.

I've seen both tractors and they are both very nice looking machine's. I haven't drove the LS but the kioti I have. I really liked it a lot...... but the only reason I decided to start looking at a bigger tractor is because it only has two speeds and I have hills on my property. I beleive the LS has only to speeds also. The Kioti is one little tuff looking machine :)

The LS and Kioti have similar specs but the Kioti is considerably heavier. 2260 vs. 1609 for the LS HST model. 600 pounds is a big difference. Price wise I've been quoted $20,000 for either with FEL and BH. My neighbor in Terlingua has a DK40SE and has been extremely pleased with it.

I've had my CK2510 TLB for 1+ years and 127 hours. Besides the poor dealer set-up I've had no problems. The filters are hard to get off for the 50 hr service but a chain wrench with breaker bar did the trick.

I just got a 5' box blade but haven't used it yet.

If you look at the literature the CK2510 uses the same engine block as the CK27. I don't know if it's de-tuned but it has the same displacement.

The BH is very powerful; it will easily move the tractor around. The FEL is easy to use; I added a BXpanded Piranha tooth bar.

I question whether the relief vales are set correctly. The FEL and BH buckets seem to go into bypass too easily. I'd like to have that checked but don't know how without bringing it back to the dealer.

If you buy one maybe have that checked during set-up. I think it's set at the factory and maybe it's below spec.

Thanks. I'm out of town now but will be back next Tuesday and planning on visiting the dealer and trying to bring one of these home if possible. Moving to Terlingua and have a lot of dirt work to do.

I use a 66" box blade on 27 HST for road maintenance (3/7 of mile of road base road) and never had an issue with it. I am 6 years in with 270 hours.

Does anybody know of a quick change loader for the 2510? It would be nice but not a deal killer.

If you're talking about a ssqa type attach for the bucket i haven't found one specific for it yet. Everything attachments has their conversions that they make but it's around 800 for the loader side and then you'll have to get a new bucket or the plate for the original and cut/weld. My dealer (MIE) has some pin to ssqa adapters but they are for the 120 loaders i think and i'm not sure if they're the same dimensions as the kl2510. And to be honest i haven't been in a position to be able to seriously consider putting up the money to convert so i haven't checked with them.

I had a ssqa adapter for my CK20/JL120 from a Canadian company ? Horst and I think ATI made one too.

If you expect to switch implements daily a quick attach is certainly nice but I find myself switching from grapple to bucket to forks etc only once or twice a month in practice. With infrequent changes just getting pin mount attachments and a spud wrench is perfectly practical. Change over with ssqa is maybe 3-5 minutes while pin mount would take only 10. And, you save the $500 for the adapter as well as a hundred pounds or so of net lift capacity.
