Noticed my front tire looked flat. I got confused trying to determine proper inflation after reading remarks on tire. They are Goodyear R4 27x8.5-15. Manual specifies 60psi and tire states not to exceed 45psi at 10mph, 2000 lbs and 30mph with 15xx lbs. I use my tractor for mowing and box blade work mostly. How do I decide what pressure to use? Thanks in advance. Ken

If ya have a front end loader , I would put about 35 pounds in the front. But that is just me.

My CK27 R4 takes 35 PSI in the front. Thats from the Kioti manual.

Thanks 747driver and mguitas. I checked the other tire and it was inflated to 34lbs, so 35lbs it will be. The ck2610 manual is a cut and past affair so can't be counted on.

Keep an eye on that wheel. It probably has a leak. You can break the rubber bead lose from the metal wheel if it gets too low and it may be hard to re-seat the bead. Happened to me when a valve stem failed, After all my DIY tricks failed I had to haul the wheel/tire to a real tire place to get it seated again.

I broke the bead on my tractor tire. I lifted the front off the ground with the loader and backed it the 1/4 mile back to the shop. That was pretty interesting as the split brakes aren’t much use going backwards. Once I got back to the shop I put a 2” ratchet strap around the tire and tightened it up. It took air not problem like that. The only tire I’ve ever failed to air up with a ratchet strap was a skid steer tire. The sidewalls in those are super heavy. And I’ve never broken a back tractor tire bead. I’m not sure how that would go with a ratchet strap.

My glance and the manual shows two different pressures depending on tire type.

The Agricultural tires show 31 psi front and 22 rear. Same for Turf type tires.

But then Industrial tires get 60psi front and 41psi rear.

But it also is specific to the tire sizes it lists. Im not sure but Id have to verify ours came with the sizes listed in the owners manual. My tires appear to be some sort of hybrid tread to what I am familiar with as Ag tires. They look more like a industrial tire.
