Kioti CK 2610
New member. Researching new CUT. I’ve owned a JD2520 since new, approx 9 years. Great machine has done all I’ve asked of it, trouble free as well.
Want a larger tractor and I’ve narrowed my search to these three. I’m sure alot of other have been through this and was looking for what influenced your decisions.
The best price is the new KIOTI CK2610 with 4030 loader at $16,900. I thought the price was almost too good to be true.
The problem with Kioti is I have no experience, familiarity or friends that own one.
I’ve driven all, all IMO are nice machines.
I use mine for tilling food plots, bucket work of various needs, snow removal and field cutting. I plan on buying a 60 rear finish mower. Most of the work is done at my place in the mountains of Pa.. Snow removal at home.

What was your reason to increase size? just curious because its not a large jump.

The large reasons that I went with the Kubota was:
- Kubota quality and reputation
- My dealer (that carries many brands and heavy construction equipment is less than 10 miles away)
- Other dealers in the areas

But truth be told, I shopped out JD and Kubota almost exclusively because their just wasn't much for anyone else. Only recently did I see a fairly local LS dealer. Mahindra and Kioti have a dealer in central MA, but I can never get there during normal hrs. So it was partly convenience and partly reputation. My dealer sells New Holland too, but doesn't have many on the lot and never even suggested the NH equivalent.

All three are great tractors, but I feel that JD could have done a little better. The three range hydro is the sticking point to me. But I do like the separate pedals. And guess what? Kioti has both.

IMO the Kioti blows the Kubota and JD out of the water in all categories. Weight, features, hydraulic flow, loader control, front axle, transmission, lift capacity, lift height, etc... As long as you have a good dealer in your area Kioti is the way to go!

Kioti’s quality and reputation are right up there now with Deere and Kubota. And you’ll be getting more tractor for your money.

IMHO, all conditions, being equal and having good dealer representation on all listed brands, the Kioti looks to be the best option, it has the best value vs $.
If you are going to finance then you might need to consider the Kubota, 0 % financing and one of the best insurance options in the market.

Our son shopped the same three tractors. He eliminated the Deere because of a 2 range hydro, a cast aluminum transmission and the Rep. at the farm show said it would not pick up a 4x4 round not even on a rare occasion. Personally I think he was wrong. He demoed the Kioti and the Kubota. Both with filled rear tires only. The Kubota had trouble with the round bale, if he bounced even a little the rear tried to come off the ground and was very hard to steer with a round bale on the loader with a bale spear. The Kioti with filled tires only was solidly on the ground when he bounced the loader in the same manner and had no trouble, even steering with one finger. On the few occasions when the Kubota L3940 was tied up with something else they've had no trouble moving a few 4x4' bales with the Kioti even in 2wd on level ground, I always warn anyone helping him to never move round bales on any slopes without using 4wd.

The Kioti has a true hydraulic steering cylinder vs. Pitman Arm style steering linkage with the linkage sticking way out in font of the axle. The Kioti was available with throttle linked pedals, a rubber deck mat, telescoping draft links. The Kioti also has almost no hydro whine compared to the Kubota.

Only one Kubota dealer seemed serious about wanting to deal. About 4 others seemed to care less.

Here's how he got his equipped and price.
Kioti CK2610HST
K2610 Loader with a 60 bucket
R4痴 Goodyears 8 ply rears and 6 ply fronts
Linked accelerator pedals
WR Long 3rd function
Telescoping Draft Links
Telescoping Stabilizers
Floor Mat
Horn
$18,758.

He got a steal! I love my Kioti and wouldn't think of having the JD 3E or Kub L3901 instead.
