Tractor
ck2610
I have been lurking around reading the forums for a while now. My wife and I have been debating on buying a new tractor for some time now.

I have had a Chinese made jinma farmpro 2420 for around 5 years now. I bought it used at an auction with a 5 foot brush hog for $3,000. It has served me well but has finally give up the ghost.

Last week we ordered a kioti ck2610 hst. Should be ready some time this week (waiting on them to install cruise control)

What problems, if any should I look for in the ck2610 hst?

The only thing I can think of is, if it's any thing like my ck2510, the hydro filter will be a royal pain to take off at the 50 hour service. But I don't know if you will be doing your own service so that might not be a problem for you  It should be a great tractor and hopefully serve you well and problem free for many years. Congrats! post up some pics!

I just took delivery of a ck2610hst last month. Prior to that I had a John Deere 850 that I loved and only had 800 hours on it, but due to a bad back and primarily loader work, I needed an HST.
I found the dealer excellent to work with, and the machine is a dream to operate.
Issues I have found:
1. I was used to driving into the dirt or compost in low range, raising the loader arms and curling the bucket. Due to the Kioti all being driven by hydraulics, I find I need to either drive into the dirt, or work the loader, even in low range.
2. It is a heavy machine, and works much better than my 850 did moving snow
3. The owner's manual is not clear on what transmission/hydraulic fluid to use, but a call to the dealer put me at ease, he has been very responsive from the time I started looking at these machines.
4. On the 3 point hitch, the leveling arm is not a crank like my John Deere was, I will replace that shortly.
5. The machine on the lot did not have a block heater in it. I asked them to install one, and am glad I did, it makes a difference.
I use the R-1 tires, they were special order, but that is what I have had on my tractors for 30 years, and they work well for me.
In general, I am very happy with the machine and the dealer.
