I've been going over the specs on this model. Looks like the only difference on the three models is just the engine size and hydraulic pump. Is there something else I'm missing?
Is any model more reliable than any other?

Thanks!

Everything is the same except the engine size. Had a CK25 (27) for 8 years, and a CK35 for a month (upgraded to the DK40). There was no difference.

I loved my CK30 but would have bought the CK35 if I had it to do over again. I found the tractor needed a little more hp to use high range for road travel. Since the CK30 was only $800 more than the CK27, it was a no brainer for me. The CK35 had a much larger jump in price.

Would you have really noticed that much difference between the CK30 and CK35? Doesn't seem like much of a jump. I've been getting quotes on the 35, so I'll check out the 30 and see what the difference is.

Thanks!!

Probably about $1200 - $1500 difference.

At that end of the scale, I think you'd see the difference....it's still a 13% bump in power.

They all 3 can have the sticking hydro pedal problem.

Ya, that bump in power would make all the difference. Mine was set up with a Woods BH, Kioti cab and loaded tires. All in I figured it was at least 6500# and it just didn't have enough hp to travel in high gear. Many people never do any road travel or use high range, but I do. I'm also not overly patient and like to plow snow in high. It worked fine going down my driveway, but reversing back up the small slope was a challenge for it when there was any real amount of snow. I also found I had to drop down to low range when really engaging the 60" box blade. Again, it was close and a few extra hp might have made the difference, I think I would have been able to accomplish the same amount of work in much less time. That said, I've managed to bring the DK45 to a dead stop in low gear with the same 60" box blade with the rippers fully down and angled down.

The CK35 is the way to go in HST. Manually tranny, I'd go CK27 and spend the difference on implements.
