Does anyone know what the factory idle speed setting is?
Mine is idling around 1200rpm. About twice what my Mitsubishi tractor and Ford Superduty speeds are

Dunno about the kioti but my Mahindra (Mitsubishi) is around 900-1000.

I checked my service manual for my CK30hst and didn't find the idle speed referenced anywhere. There was reference to an adjustment bolt for the idle speed though. Mine has been 900-1,000 since new by the dash tach.

My CK27HST idles at 1,000rpm.

Mine idles in the 900 -1000. Same engine as CK27. I usually let it idle closer to 1100 - 1200 just seems to run smoother at that speed.

When I first got mine I asked about the idle speed, because I thought it was too high. One of the members here reassured me that 1,000 RPM was normal.

Thanks for the replys. I think I will drop it to 1000.

I think mine is 1000 to 1100. 1200 would be fine IMO.
