ck30 4 wheel drive won't engage

I've posted here before about my ck30 that wouldn't start and luckily got that issue taken care of. Unfortunately now my 4 wheel drive won't engage. The tractor is a 2005 with just over 400 hours on it and when I engage the lever the 4 wheel drive won't engage. Anyone have this issue?

If it has a loader, try lifting the front wheels off the ground. Then try to engage.

I've tried that and still get no response from the 4 wheel drive.

I had the same thing happen on a LB 1914 model. Turns out mine was the bolts in the front differential all Sheared off. Happened on two separate occasions turns out it's not a very difficult repair. First I've heard of it on a CK 30 though. The CK 30 seems like a much heavier front end and different design. My first thought would be a problem with the linkage that engages the four-wheel-drive. Before tearing into it Try inspecting all those areas very well while having someone operate the engagement lever. With tractor off and safe of course.
