CK30 Air filter questions?

Been getting a lot of great advice with our CK30 tractor on the forum here. So have another question, I did some searching on the website and came up a little empty. The CK30 Air filter, is it better to have both the inner and outer filters? I am in the process of doing maintance and notice that it only has the outer filter. Should I put both? Or is it this way for a reason. We are not in real dusty enviroment, but also don't want to be putting it back with somethign missing if necessary...

What are other owners doing? thanks again

The same M27 tractor sold by Bobcat is called the CT230, and it has
2 filters. If you feel more comfortable with both, buy the inner one from
Bobcat. The housings are the same. I have owned both tractors.
I have stuck with just the outer filter on my Kioti since I am not in a dusty
environment. Your call.

My CK30 doesn't have the inner filter either. Kioti doesn't use them in at least this model. As mentioned above, you can get the inner filter through Bobcat. Bobcat apparently thinks the outer and inner filters are needed. I did a test and put some oil on a small part of the inside of my filter housing to see if anything is getting through the standard outer filter and attaching to the oil. After three months, so far so good, but that has been Winter use and not much dust. If your worried about yours, add it in.

thanks guys, appreciate the input. since we aren't dusty either thinking just run as usual and keep an eye on it. but will check with bobcat and see $$, and see what kind of difference. they look like a robust filter so guessing will do a good job. thanks again

you don't need to go to Bobcat for the inner (or outer) filter.
The Wix number is 46490 for the inner filter, 46489 for the outer filter. so O'reilly's or Napa would have them. I have no idea who's cheaper. I have $48 written down for the outer filter, and $32 for the inner. but I have no idea where that came from. Bobcat, Napa full price,O'Reilly's net price??
