Kioti CK30
Well the tractor came yesterday. It ended up being a CK-30
rather than the CK25 I ordered due to a mixup- Kioti HQ in
fact was out of CK25 gear models and a long wait was expected.

I got a little upset and said I was ready to walk unless they
gave me the 30 on the lot for the 25 price. They offered to
give me a loaner while waiting but I ended up getting the
30...for a price in between the 25 and 30.

I don't think this was bait and switch since I proposed it (heh)
but The dealer needs to check with the factory before they
give delivery times!

They forgot to bring the manual but will mail it. Is there anything else I should do besides checking fluids and looking for loose bolts?

Get out the grease gun.
I expect its a "gear" not an HST since you say CK30?
Be careful if its the HST not to kick it out of low to neutral on a hill with your left leg. And make sure you are really, really in low instead of half way---it can jump out.
Happy tractor time! You wont regret an extra 5 hp. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Almost to pretty to get dirty! You'll like the extra 5hp. Especially with the brush hog. More PTO hp.
I gave my CK30hst a good going over. Some fluids were low and a little extra grease was needed. After hearing the members talk about the nuts and bolts, I only found a few not fully tightened. Other than those checks, you should be ready to go.
Congratulations and happy tractoring.

Well I did some bush hogging just now. Effortlessly cut 5 ft
high weeds and brush. I Kept rpm around 2000 and changed
it periodically for break-in.

This is the CK30 gear for no other reason than my liking
to press pedals and shift levers.

Not having the manual made for quite a search for the oil
dipstick. Finally found that secret place.

It sure is quiet!

I just did the flatter parts until I get used to it but I have
a question concerning the more sloping areas.

Does the 3 pt hitch allow the hog to float up if it needs to?
(like in a depression)

I heard someone say if you want it to float to remove the top link bar--at least that was the hint on my RFM. Anyone??

What do you need it to float for, cant you just raise it to where you need it with it hooked up normally?
