Ok all, I drove all over S. Fla today and saved the Kioti Dealer in Lake Wales for last. I looked at Branson, Deere, Kubota, Farmtrac and Mahindra. Believe it or not the Deere dealer had NO salesman in the building because they were all in a meeting in Ft. Meyers. The only person there couldn't even give me a price nor did she have any knowledge of the product(and they didn't bother to call me later)! Couldn' see a Mahindra in the 30 hp class...dealer didn't stock 'em at all. The Branson 3510 was a nice tractor but $2000 more than a CK30. The Farmtrac was also way more and didn't have any visible dealer support(had one on the lot). The Kubota L3400 in my opinion comes close and it does give me more leg room(6'4" & 225lbs), but the dealer had no HST's to demo.
Then i get to C & J Equip Sales, and believe it or not the owners 11 year old kid demo'd a CK30 w/FEL and had the spec sheet memorized(Rainman?) Sooo, i explained to the owner that i would like to buy from the dealer in E. Tenn where i am going to be as soon as i retire(12 months and 27 days), and the guy say's..."Take it out back to a sand pile and have fun!" So I did, and i am impressed. The only thing that needs attention is the throttle lever which when at low speeds digs into my knee, but it can be adjusted and or shortned. The owner then spent another 45 min giving me alot of Kioti info knowing that the sale will be deferred to another dealer...and that my friends seals the deal! This is the same kind of attitude I have seen from the other Kioti dealers on this forum, and it makes a difference.
The Dealer in Sneedville Tn has to order a CK30 HST, so I will update when it arrives. I appreciate all the info and responses on this forum!
