I am considering buying a ck30 with a back hoe. Any one ever use one and how do they actually dig. Should I go with an actual kioti back hoe or are others better. Thanks

I've got the Rhino 75 on mine and it works great.
My only complaint would be getting to that darned diverter valve in the rear of the CK30 /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
I guess if I was a little more limber and a little less weight challenged, it would be easier.
Anyway, once the valve is set, it's one diggin machine.

I just got a ck25 with the rhino 75. While I don't have a lot of experience (just 2 huge stumps so far). It sure works great. I don't think I have that diverter valve on mine, I think because I have remotes. simple flip lever engages/disengages remotes. Not real sure though, but love having the remote hookups.

Some have had problems with the Kioti backhoe recently.

Id vote for the ck30 with the woods bh80x backhoe with the thumb. The specs are superb with these two together... Im saving up for the woods bh80x myself... Good luck..

I have the CK20 with the KB2365 hoe. Digs very well and in fact matches the famed Kubota B21 dedicated TLB in just about every digging spec front and rear. I imagine the CK30 set up with any hoe would do even better. That said, there is what seems to be justified excitement about the new Woods hoes so you might want to see both before choosing.

I've got a CH30HST with Rhino BH75 and so far so good. I've dug stumps and trenches and used it to do all sorts of things. See attached picture.

So far no problem with the Rhino...although the new Woods models look pretty nice with the curved arms and all /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I have the CK30HST with Kioti 2375. I posted not being able to get it remounted, but it was the diverter valve. Once properly turned, back in business. I think it is a great combination. Only done a bit of trench work, but have more work lined up.

I have the KB2365 backhoe on my CK20HST and it works great. No real problems, just keeping fittings tight so there are no leaks is important.

From my observations, not use, of the Woods backhoes is that they may be better built than the Kioti hoes. If purchasing a 4 point hook up, one gets better ground clearance. The mounts seem beefier as does much of the rest of the hoe. Woods seems to do a better job of making the tolerances correct as relates to mounting and assembly holes as well.

As you may know, the Kioti subframe(which comes off with the backhoe) clearance is a few inches less than the Woods 4point mount in which the subframe portion stays on the tractor when the hoe is removed.

If you're planning to have a mid mount finish mower, you would want to buy the Woods as it can be used in conjunction with the mower. Not so with the Kioti hoe.

I also have the CK30HST with a Kioti 2375. I have only had it since August 2005 but for me it is a good strong machine. I used it to install a septic system last fall. Digging to full depth to put in the tank was a little scarry, I had to dig to full depth at the edge of the hole as the reach is somewhat limited. But it did a good job IMHO. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Controls are very fast and takes some practice. Also be careful of lifting the seat up as it can hit the controls and move the hoe unexpectedly. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

As a CK30 owner who is keeping tabs on which BH to equip my machine with I would stay away from the Kioti loader. They make a fine tractor, the BH is not so good. The alternative that I am eying is the Woods. I like the idea that the subframe stays on the machine, these things need all the underside protection they can get and maybe that subframe would lend itself to a skid plate. Heck, maybe just buy the subframe.

If you have to spend money to install the diverter then why the heck not just install a remote so that you can avoid thediverter operation and at the same time have a useful remote for other tasks.
