Hi all,
I have a 2006 CK30 gear that wont start. I get all the good lights on the dash, & wait for the glow plugs to go out, turn the key and I get a single click with no turnover.
I replaced the ignition switch (thinking it was that since I had done the WD-40 "fix" a couple of times and it was still occasionally flaky). I also replaced the battery which tested bad.
I read on this board about putting a screwdriver across the solenoid and trying to start. That does make the start motor turnover with the normal whine (which it doesn't without the screwdriver) but it doesnt fire. It did make some nice sparks and pits in the screwdriver though
Does it sound like the solenoid?
