Tractor
NH TT50A with rear remotes added
Well I think I have narrowed it down to the CK30. Going to go down and test drive it after this weekend so anything I should look for? Just a basic machine, no loader or anything just rear remotes. Going to be pulling 6' rotary mower and 7' haybine for most of it's life. Once the old BMC dies it will get a loader on it, but who knows when that will be.

Thanks,

You'll love it! & Welcome to the coyote pack.

If I'd a had it to do again i would have got the rear remotes. First big tractor for me- didn't even know what they were. Now I'm adding a single rear remote for a blade tilter cylinder. Now I see theres a CK35. I would get that over the 30 just because. It wasn't offered then. Can't never have too much power. Are you really sure you don't want to take it home with a new shiny loader attached to it??

Don't need a loader as my old BMC still running good, and that has the loader. Got it down to the Kioti or the NH just on the fence right now. I agree rear remotes are a MUST !!

Thanks for the replies, will let you all know what I choose.

Just recently took delivery of the works CK35. My one regret is not getting the 2nd spool valve for the rear. This gives you greater options for hydraulic control. Currently after a 4 in 1 Flail for it which ideally needed the 2nd set of spool valves.

the only concern i would have is the haybine and that tractor. I have pulled a haybine over many of acre of land. if it is light grass, clover or light alfalfa with 30 HP you will be ok. But if it is a thick stalk such as suddex, barly or anything like that i have made a haybine that size make a 50 HP roll black smoke. Also most of the haybines i have used may be a little heavy for that tractor if you are going down a fair grade. It may push the rear of the machine. They only weigh in at about 2500lbs by themselves. You may want to look at something like the DK 45 if you are going to get into hay.

Bondo,

Don't know much 'bout running haybines, though I've moved my fair share of their product growing up.:) But I can tell you that I've enjoyed over 100 hours of near flawless work outta my CK30 and I've put 'er through 'er paces. The only little problems I've had were a loose jam nut on the FEL joystick and a bad headlight relay. All in all it's been a real workhorse for me drawing logs, diggin'/moving material w/bucket & pallet forks, grading w/RB, etc... I haven't used many PTO attachments except PHD which it handled very efficiently. The Kioti is a bit heavier than many of it's competitors and w/loaded tires is quite stable.

Darkviper may have a point w/ the 'bine though, but don't know first hand.

Good luck with your test drive, I played with mine on three separate occassions at the dealer before delivery. Just couldn't help myself.;)
