I would like to add the Kioti optional rear remote hydraulics to my CK30H at some point. Have researched the archives and found some good pointers, but I do have a question. I do not have a Kioti dealer near my home, but before I bought my tractor I visited a dealer and test drove a CK35H. We talked about adding the remotes and he told me that they offer a single and dual remote kit. His ballpark off-the-cuff guess on the price as I recall was something like $250 for the single kit and $375 for the dual kit.

I was under the impression that I could buy the dual kit by itself and this would give me 2 pair of remotes, but when I called another dealer yesterday to order some filters and manuals he told me that I would have to buy both the single remote kit and dual remote kit to get 2 pair of remotes. Initially I thought for the extra $125 that I would go ahead and install 2 pair, but I do not want to spend an extra $375 to get the extra pair that I would probably never use.

Which dealer is right?

Thanks,
Jeff

It cost me $375 to add the second set of remotes to my CK30, it already had the first set for the BH. Dealer said he would not charge labor since I was having it done before delivery. So I suspect the second dealer is correct. If you call Rick Wallace.. he would know for sure.

You do need the first before the second.

Thanks Rick. I did not have a lot of confidence in the first dealer that I visited. It was a used car dealership that sold Kioti tractors on the side. He was a really nice guy who stayed past his normal business hous for me and we ended up talking for quite some time about tractors and aviation stuff, but selling and servicing tractors was not his primary business. I would have bought a tractor from him (because I was sold on the Kioti and he was the closet dealer), but he did not have one in stock and said he was not sure he could even get a CK30H. I ended up driving 4 hours one way 5 days later to buy my tractor, and quite honestly I was disappointed in the knowledge and service after the sale of the dealer I did buy the tractor from (and I have only had the tractor for about 6 weeks). I wish I had a great dealer close by my home...hopefully a someone will start selling Kioti's around here some day.

Thanks,
Jeff

Just as Rick advised, you need the first remote before you can install the second and the cost is about what you stated. Around 600 for both. If you can't swing that right now, just add the first one and do the second at a later time if you need it. Cost should be the same. Just a bit more work digging into the tractor twice.
When I first added the bh, I used the hose kit. What a waste of money. I wish that I would have known about the remotes. Anyways, a simple call to Rick and both remotes were on their way. I added power angle to my rear blade. Works great for snowplowing.

Just a note to file.... you need to remove the first valve and stack it to the outside of the second valve when you add the second set of remotes.

The second remote valve kit has a detent float position.
