3-Point Hitch CK30HST - 3PT Hitch NOT RAISING

I can't get the 3pt hitch to raise.

The tractor's been sitting in the barn for the past 5 months.
I've finally got some time to play.

The hitch was locked in the up position from last use.
Turning the (release) knob led to is going down on its own.
But I can't seem to get it to go back up.

I started the tractor and pulled back on the lever to raise it - nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong?

Does the fact that I've just re-connected the backhoe have anything to do with this?

It likely does. Why are you using the BH and the 3ph at the same time? The hydraulics are often set up in an either/or fashion.

If you don't have the rear remote, that infernal thumb valve by the right rear tire may be the problem. Reach up under there and give her a turn or two,or three.

On my CK30HST, I can't move the 3pt arms if the BH is active. I say active as I have the rear remotes and if I have the control valve in the center position, no flow to the BH, then the 3pt arms will move. If I have the 'remote' control in either the forward or rearward position... the 3pt arms will not move. HTH.
