I do a lot of FEL work so I am constantly shifting from low to Midrange. Sometimes it takes too much time to accomplish this. I am afraid of breaking the shifter.

I sprayed the linkage with white lithium grease without any noticeable difference.

Anybody else have the same problem?

Yes. Mine is motly difficult to shift between gears and that IS with the clutch in and the machine stopped. Sometimes it moves really easily but that is the exception. Same thing with the PTO lever. It is like they aren't synchronized.

On the tranny, I find that a light tap of the HST pedal in whatever gear it is in generally allows the lever to move. I have had to actually push myself a bit with the loader to line up the gears.

I noticed. I put up with it and don't shift as much as a result.

My CK30hst is the same as Highbeam's and yours. Sometimes shifting is easy and other times, well you just have to play a little. I tried to pay attention to when the easy times were and duplicate it. It didn't seem to work or maybe I just wasn't seeing what was going on.
As Highbeam said, a slight tap on the hst pedal sometimes works or I have done the "clutch twice". Clutch in to go to neutral, clutch back out and then back in to go into the other range. I was on a slight grade once and the tractor was rolling very slowly by itself. It shifted easy. I tried it the next time and it shifted stiff.
I doubt very much that the gears are synchronized because these aren't meant to be shifted while travelling. I hoped the stiffness was because the tractor is new, 69 hours, and the tolerances are close. It seems to get better the more it's used and shifted.

If you follow the 3 point handle down next to the fender you'll find a grease fitting. After I greased mine the 3 point handle moved quite a bit easier.

Edit: I just realized you said PTO lever and I was thinking of the 3 point lift lever. Working the clutch pedal a time a two works good for me to get the PTO lever to engage.....

I also do a lot of Low/Medium switching. Sometimes it does not want come out of gear. Normally I just cycle the clutch in/out and that does the trick (I always use the clutch). If not then I touch the fwd/rev pedal and then try it again. I haven't been shy about pulling on the shifter lever. I figure if thats the way it is...thats the way it is and I'm going to use it that way (I also figure that it must be designed to withstand the use or it wouldn't be that way). We'll see...

It just feels wrong to force gears. Maybe it is from my manual tranny days when a steady pressure allowed the gears to mesh and fall into place with a little time. Forcing these things can't be good plus when you see how these levers attach to the transmission of our Kioti's I wouldn't want to force them much.

I'll have to try a double clutch next time. The clutches don't take much effort so that may be the ticket.

The recommended procedure when you have trouble changing gears is to depress the clutch and move the lever out of one range into the neutral position, let off the clutch and cycle the HST pedal. Push the clutch and move the lever into the desired range.

These are not synchronized gears and the tractor should not be moving when shifting ranges. Always use the clutch. You don't have to baby it, but if you have a lot of resistance, use the above procedure. It's quickly second nature to do.

I find sometimes that moving the FEL up and down makes it easier to shift out of or into a HST gear.

I tend to only have slight problems when going to low from medium. Moving out of low or between medium and high don't seem to give me problems. I just use a little more force and it goes, haven't broke it yet!
