most tractors red line around 3000-3200. The rated you refer to is at its peak torque and peak pto speed. Typically you dont want to run it much higher as all you are doing at that point is wasting fuel and not really getting anything back.
If you are going to experiment in that area, don't forget to report your
results here.
From my experience rebuilding these small 3-cyl diesels (no Kiotis yet),
all you will do if you raise the RPM enough is float the valves and
lose compression. The valve springs are so soft that I can compress them
with my fingers. No valve spring compressor needed. At least that is
what I would expect to happen. Maybe others here have tried it?
