Just drove a CK4010HST, dealer didn't have a CK3510HST on the lot, but they are almost identical. Decision is down to these two models. Liked the platform room, ability to get on either side, and FEL lift capacity of the Kioti. However, I thought the engine noise level at full throttle was a LOT louder than the L3301. Only saw one other thread here about CK3510 noise level so want to know what others experience since I didn't actually test drive a CK3510.

Kinda liked the two-pedal HST but want to test drive each again with my 'Muck' boots on to be sure; gotta see if my 'Muck' boots get hung up on treadel-pedal when driving the L3301 again. The loader controls on the Kioti are in a nice spot for operator convenience but response time felt slower than the Kubota.

Both are very nice tractors but have to make a decision soon and these are my fine points.

Thanks for any/all opinions and advice. Only gonna buy one tractor for the long haul and have to make sure I'm happy with it!

John

I wear noise deadening ear muffs whenever operating my tractor or driving my Kubota RTV500 utility vehicle.

When using my chainsaw I wear ear plugs AND noise deadening ear muffs.

Hearing loss is cumulative. You pay after age sixty.

Being able to mount from both sides would be a definite plus over the Kubota for me. As Jeff said, wear hearing protection. I have noise reducing ear muffs with am/fm and Bluetooth and really like them. My L2501 is so loud I don't start it until 8 in the morning so I don't disturb the neighbors that are 650 feet down the ridge from me.

Thanks Jeff, always good advice. We just implemented a Hearing Conservation Program in our shop so I've learned alot about that over the past 6 months. I've been using hearing protection at HOME even more since then when mowing, weed eating, or driving the old Allis. I'll still continue regardless of which NEW orange one I get.

Thanks, I've started a L2501 at the dealer along with the L3301 and there is a big dB difference between the two. Yes, both side entry would be nice feature to have. What brand of reducing ear muffs, w/ AM/FM, Bluetooth do you have and how $$, Thanks again.

They are 3m worktunes for around $40.00.
