- Considering a Kioti CK3510SE HST
Background on me: Grew up around tractors and have used a handful over the years, but never actually owned one. Experience ranges from a Ford 3000 to a John Deere 4370 CUT. Purchased a house with 10 acres last year, mostly pasture, and am close to wearing out complimentary mowing from relatives. Looking at a compact in the 30 - 40 hp range, 4WD with loader and possibly/probably HST. I知 more on the hobby farmer end of the scale vs heavy commercial user. Majority of work will be mowing pasture, plowing garden spots/food plots with a set of discs, maintaining a gravel drive and digging post holes. Heavily considering Kioti. Visited a dealer nearby on Saturday. They have a CK3510SE HST that was purchased and brought back with almost no hours to swap for a CK4010SE. Used loader and tires were swapped to new machine, so this one has brand new tires and loader. Machine currently has roughly 11 hours. Unless I misunderstood, from a financing and warranty position it would be treated as new. Quoted price with loader is $19,800 cash (+$2,100 if financed at 0%). Hood does have a scratch, roughly 1 x 3? from removing the loader. Trying to determine whether this is a decent deal or not. Any advice or input would be appreciated.
