Wix # is 51056............it should be a direct cross to NAPA as wix makes their filters.......TOM

Just wondering. Do all the Boomers take the same oil filter?

I have two tractors at two different properties.........A TC33D and a TC40D.............The oil filters are the same..........I can't say for the smaller boomers...........Maybe someone else knows ? Just a FYI..........The NH oil filter was $10.44 and the wix was $9.64 at napa...........I've bought both.......The NH dealer is closer to my home property and NAPA is closer to my other place.........TOM

The TC35 is the only boomer that takes a different oil filter than the one used on the rest. The one being mentioned is bigger around than the proper one for the TC35. The larger one will not fit because it rubs on the frame the New Holland part number for the TC35 is sba140517020

Give a Ford/Motorcraft FL-300 (or anything equivalent) a try.

I dont think that would be a good idea since we sell NH tractors and promote the use of original equipment parts. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yep.. there is a bolt head that prevents the bigger(cheaper cost) filter from fitting. I think it's from the loader bracket mount? When I went to the NH parts dept.(in 2000) to get an oil filter.. they had given me the larger one first. I told them that the filter seemed larger.. they said that's what the computer display showed as the replacement. An hour later I was there to return it.. had to pay a couple $ more for the smaller one.

The Class II Boomers take the Wix 51056 as well.

Checked that bolt this weekend.. it's a bolt head that fastens the engine to the transmission.
