In 1973, I had the smallest Winnebago Brave when the GMC motorhome came on the market. I stopped by a dealer to look at the GMC (well out of my price range at the time) just out of curiosity. In looking it over, I looked under it and noticed that the lowest thing at the front end was the bottom of the radiator. I commented to the salesman that a person would have to be very careful if he got off road in one to avoid radiator damage.

Now the salesman was impeccably dressed in suit and tie, and with nose turned up appropriately, he replied, "People who buy this class of motorhome don't get off the paved roads" as he walked away.:laughing:

He wouldn't visit me then, directions to my place include the saying, "turn off the paved road"
