clay in wheel wells sticking up levers

Ok, admittedly, it was a little too wet to be plowing the garden, but I needed to get it turned over before adding some more organics. When I as done, the clay was so stuck up under the back wheels of my BX that I couldn't blast it out with water and I couldn't move the levers to raise and lower the 3pt or engage the PTO. Ended up digging it out with a pry bar while blasting it with water from the hose.

Anybody else ever have this problem and come up with an easy fix to prevent it or get it out of there more easily?

Sounds like you need to help out the guy that is driving his tractor in his pond.
That should clean out the mud.

Definitely have been there!!! What I usually do is get all the cans of PAM my wife has and spray the **** out of the fender wells and underbody. The clay never has a chance!@#$!@#$

No seriously, I use a high pressure powerwasher and a small pry bar and I just try not to get into the muck too often.

yep, maybe that's what i need - more pressure.... or a pond.....

seriously, i was working on the pto pressure washer idea because i think it's a better value in the long run, but then, how to activate the pressure washer to get the mud out from around the pto lever???

maybe the sam's honda powered PW is looking better and better....

and don't think my wife wouldn't notice if all her pam was suddenly missing!
