Yep , looks good ! Nothing like chain guard on them also instead of the rubber cheaper rock guard . IMO .
Tractor Supply enamel.. I’m not 100% but I think it was IH Red.. (read somewhere it was a close match too Bush hog)
No hardener.. Im a novice.. Just a little thinner with the paint ran thru a cheap gravity fed paint gun..(home depot $50)
What does the hardener get you?
Yes.. My Deere 709 had rubber belting and I would always pucker when I heard sticks/rocks hitting the back of tractor, just thinking my glass was about to shatter. With chain, I don’t hear anything hitting the back of the tractor anymore.. Another thing Mfg’s should be forced to install for safety...Yep , looks good ! Mixed in exact proportions, to the right paint, it helps it dry faster and is a bit harder when dry. Only use it when mfg's state how to use it.
looks good. I need to have some plate metal, cut fit and then repaint ours.
I used to live in Seabrook. Off of Repsdorph rd back in very early eighties.
Yep - as a former Friendswood, TX/La Porte/ South Houston resident, we both know how fast a new paint job will turn to rust right before your eyes. Cavjock22 best keep a good supply of that red paint handy. Inside dry storage is the only preventative that I know of.
