I noticed the other day while driving I kept hearing a clicking or slight knocking sound from under tractor, this happened in 4wd also.I had a box blade on and the mmm was locked in top position heard it when turning going across yard in fast position but was'nt going fast, tried it in slow still heard it.Took off mmm did'nt hear it again. Was I doing something wrong?Don't want to mess up anything.Anyone else heard this or have it happen to them?:confused2:

Doesn't sound like you were doing anything to me, may have just been your MMM bouncing and hitting something.

See if the clicking stops if you engage the rear diff lock, use it in soft soil, and engage it with the wheels stopped, then move it slowly. Be aware for any abnormal sounds with it engaged other than the clicking (something different that may be related to the clicking?). If anything else is heard, disengage,,possible back up,and assess before moving further.
I have not had any experience with this, but personally I would focus on the rear diff lock, ensureing it is,or is not, prior to operating any further to prevent any additional damage if that is inded the case.
Plan for the worst, hope for the best.

My MMM will bounce and hit the stops on the underside of the frame when I hit a bump even if the MMM is locked in the top position. A bit annoying, but nothing to worry about. If your noise goes away with the MMM off, that might just be what you're hearing.

I get a lot of knocking from the 60" MMM when going across a slope, I think its bouncing on the self balance mechanism, it was loud enough for me to be of concern as well.

Had a clicking on my BX24. Found out it was the plastic cover on the forward end of the front driveshaft got tweeked. A little heat and the cover was hitting no more!
Check it out.

It very well could be mmm hitting stops , what I will do when I put it back on is try to duplicate what I was doing the other day and put my foot (carefully) on top side of mmm to see if I can feel it in the mmm. Got to play in snow today again did,nt hear sound so mmm I think is culprit !!:thumbsup:

Check your wheel lug nuts to make sure they are all torqued tight. That will cause a very similar noise that will eventually ruin your wheels.
