Thats how my new tractor sounds when I mow.

Just took delivery of a TC33D with 72inch MMRD. It sounds like all the cotter pins are rattling at once! Any thoughts?

A float question...
I read in the manual how far to lower the mower, so the mower doesn't take all the weight. Huh? How do you know? Any tips on this? Am I just not understanding the manual?

thanks experts... from a complete rookie! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

As for the sound ????
The spring clips that hold the 4 pins that hold the mower on to tractor can rub the pulleys so if this is source of sound put pins in so clip is on outside if posible.
To set the mower height drive on a solid level surface (garage floor or apron) and lower mower until the wheels are about 1/4 to 1/2" above floor.
Use this position to set the stop.
This lets the tractor and springs carry most of the weight and still keep mower close to ground.
BTW all the wheels should be set at same spacer height and all should be same distance from floor or the mower needs leveled.
In this case I would call my salesman and have him get someone out to set it up correct.
