Closing in the ends of a pole barn?

/ Closing in the ends of a pole barn? #11
I'd certainly do a footer. Not that it is required because it's a non-load bearing wall, but lacking a pole in the ground, and only surface mounting to a thin concrete floor and attaching at top to trusses, I worry about wind loads. And what's your plans for inside? Are you finishing the inside? If not are you okay with the ends being different?

And how did they brace the roof/trusses. Usually on a pole barn, they have end poles that extend to the too of the trusses to help brace them.

And if you plan on enclosing the ends, why didn't you just have the builder build a conventional pole barn, rather than skimp there. Material cost you are paying for anyway, and I can't imagine telling them to leave the ends open saved much in labor at all.

And only being 10' tall but 90' deep....how are you doing the concrete? Sounds like ALOT of work. I'd have done the concrete before the roof went on.

Regarding septic and cost ...that's a local thing. There are many ways to do a septic, and what is allowable is up to your local jurisdiction, and the type of dirt you have. Septics where I live "can" exceed $30k for a new 4bdrm house based on current code. But it keeps changing. I have no idea where you are located. Fill out your profile.
