If i remember correctly the gap is supposed to be .040 in. I took off the right side loader bracket and looked in the window to see what was up because i had a clutch slip twice this weekend when using the loader into piles of dirt. I have no gap that i can see. when i rotate the flywheel one set of adjusters were loose and can be wiggled with my finger (PTO i think)
and the adjusters that had the camming arms that come off the rear of the pressure plate had no gap so that may be the slippage problem.
So what is the procedure for doing the proper adjustment on this thing? Where is the gap supposed to be measured? do you back off the adjuster nuts and push the bolt forward and measure under the bolt head? (stud that looks like a lug nut stud)
I noticed that my PTO stage and main clutch disengage very close together when pushing in the clutch so there is definitly something needing adjustment.
I have about 80 hours on the unit as of now.
