I had the clutch give up the ghost within a short time of getting the tractor so had to pull it out & get a new one (actually 2).
Why it failed? I think a combination of not set up correctly from factory maybe + me pushing it to the limit to see what it can do.I have built a nice rock wall;some rocks threatened to tip me over when lifting, some wouldn't lift at all or move, some I put the bucket under to give a little lift then pushed into position.I need a rock breaker down the track but that can wait for a while.
Anyway first up I drove 1000kms (600 miles) back home to get my engine crane, rigging gear & winches to remove the FEL remembering to label the hydraulic lines.
Then it was a matter of disconnecting everything required to split it,taking lots of photos for reference especially wiring that wasn't part of a one way plug.
With the rear brake activated & gear box supported by a bottle jack & the motor by trolley jack it was time to gently pull it apart with the 12v winch.Note the strap to the front axle to keep it level.

Yes it was slipping

I decided to get the old plates relined rather than install original so that way if it fails again I know I can't blame the clutch material.Cost a little more than OEM ($40)
