I was going over my 4035 gear mahindra checking things and clutch pedal was a little out adjustment so i went to tighten it up and it was already tight as it would go. I could loosen the pedal but could not tighten it to spec. called dealer and they did not know what to do about it but would check with mahindra rep, that was three weeks ago. I called today and was told as soon as mechanic got off phone with another customer he would call me,that did not happen. Has anyone had this adjustment problem before. Thanks

I adjusted my clutch and had plenty of adjustment in it. How many hours on your 4035? I had to adjust mine cause I was in too high a gear moving dirt piles. Now I know better.

I find it hard to understand that a tractor with 200 hours on it needs any adjustment at all. Good luck with that. One operator question..................Your not resting your foot on the clutch, are you?

Decreasing clutch play is normal as the clutch wears. -- Its sounds as tho your clutch play has increased. Is that right? That is abnormal and sounds like a throw out bearing or pressure plate lift finger problem. Ominous. Call the shop and talk to a mechanic familiar with the model.

Talked to dealer today he spoke to rep they want me to bring tractor in so they can check it. something is not right because I bought it new and have not touched the adj before and its adj all the way in. I am recovering from knee surgery so it be at least a month or so before I can get it there. On the other two Mahindras 2615 and 3616 after a couple hundred on the 2615 i never had to again and i had 900 hrs on it, done same on 3616 but traded it back in on the 4035 so a small adj is not unusual. When i find out the problem i will let you what it was. thank you for help.
