Century 3045 performing fine with no clutch slippage then it just stopped moving all at once, adjusted clutch linkage where it would move at a idle only in low 1st gear.
This happened all at once, has any one else had this problem.

John Deere 2020 of my dads back in the 80's clutch would go out every two or three years. What always puzzled me is that it would not be gradual. It would pull to max engine torque right up to the moment almost that it would not go any more. We would have to winch that tractor up onto the trailer to haul it off for repair. Dealer said that was just the way it was when we would ask why no early warning of some kind.

Hope yours turns out to be something in the linkage. Don't mean to discourage you from searching for a cause, just wanted to prepare you for that could actually happen.

Sounds like the center splined hub tore loose from the rest of the clutch disc.
If that's' the case, a good "clutch & brake shop" can fix it by replacing the sheared rivets.

I hear splitting these tractors is a "bear"... :-(

What were you doing when this happened? Working the tractor hard, changing gears, just driving along, etc..

I had a rear main engine seal leak on a tractor once and it was pulling just fine until I pushed the clutch in and then tried to take off again.

No clue on how these are to split compared to Ford, JD, Bota, etc..
