Hi,

I have just split my Ford 4000, because the clutch needs to be replaced. But now I can see the gasket behind the front support plate is leaking oil. Well - not a big deal - just got to put in a new gasket! But I can't figure out how to dismantel the clutch release fork!!! I can't find any information about the type in my tractor!? Thinks the bolt through the fork have to be removed but it seems to be completly stuck! So if any one knows how to get this thing out I will be glad! Don't want to break something!

Best regards
Jesper

Got it! The bolt is conical and you just have to remove the nut from one end and tighten it at the other end - then the conical bolt slips out! Simple - but it took me at while to figure it out :)

Thanks for the hint! I have put my local tractor shop on the job - hope they succeds! All the other stuff just arrived today: clutch, different seals and gaskets, Water pump etc. Also the flywheel has come back - looks brand new after it's resurfaced :)
