Hi all, I have a 2007 Jimna 354 with less than 100 hours. A few hours back (talking tractor life) my clutch was slipping, other words, not engaging quickly and loosing grip when giving fuel. So after reading up on this forum, I did a clutch adjustment to the fingers that push the throw-out bearing. The fingers were touching. So I set the appropriate gap, closed it up, and all was good. A couple hours later.... clutch was slipping again, couldn't figure the problem, so I opened the side up (moved the bucket arms) to check my settings again. They were right on, a nice little gap between the fingers and throw-out bearing.
Both times I didn't do any adjustment to the PTO bolts.
So my question is... can the PTO bolts settings cause the clutch to slip? My brain thought pto would be for the pto in the back, and since I wasn't using it, I would leave the settings alone.
Like I said before, less than 100 hours, and I don't ride the clutch, so very doubtful it wore down.
Thanks for any input!
