Heat is not a consideration on that run/application.
There are no safety or code things to consider with the run, bury it as far as you feel appropriate. You could safely put it just under the sod, just realize it's easier to damage, but coax is pretty tough to movement/etc. If you are hand digging just go down one shovel worth, if you are trenching or using some sort of power like a forklift fork, put it down a bit further since it's "free"
Most municipalities in the US have zero code when it comes to low voltage applications like this, a rural area with a lv code would be unheard of.
