I'm getting ready to do the first 50 hr on my TC45DA. I know I'm supposed to change the oil, hydraulic and HST filters. My question: The owners manual says "An optional cold weather HST filter is available. Part #SBA240500980. This filter is recommend for operation in temperatures at or below 0 degrees F (-18 C)." I plan to use my tractor a lot this winter to plow and snowblow my driveway. Does anyone know how important it is to use the cold weather filter? If I put in this filter, will it be ok for summers in Alaska? It rarely gets to be 75F in my area but it gets below zero sometimes for weeks at a time, and ocassionally as low as -25.
Thanks,
