I posted this over in the Farmall Vintage tractor area, but thought it would be a good idea to put it here as well. I haven't seen any of the equipment, but some of these items sound interesting to me.
The father of a friend of mine is moving to town and will be selling a number of collectible tractors and other equipment. The list includes:
Farmall Super M (has power steering and was one of the few of this model).
656 Farmall tractor pre 1950??
2 Case from the early 1950s
1 John Deere (put put - 2 cylinder)
1 John Deere Front End Loader (large size)
2 Row tractor mount corn picker - John Deere model but was used on one of the other tractors
84 Ford 150 4x4 - not run since 1999 but ran fine when it was parked in the field
66 Chevy 1 ton working dump truck - sitting since 1984
Old Chevy farm truck 1/2 ton - somewhere between 1945 and 1952
1952 (or maybe 1956) Mercury Monterray (sp?) body only, engine has been taken out
Other items that I haven't been told about. You probably can guess what kind of a farm this looks like. The son is hoping to sell the items privately and spare his parents the commotion of a sale.
