Comm'em on a road trip with me?

We got to head out to the farm and weld a pin on a rock picker. I'll even let you look out the window on the way. Never mind the boys there. They get a little camera shy :laughing: There's 12 pics so please be patient

In the last picture did you have to cut out the rectangular hole to access and weld the pin from the backside?

If so, did the pin get welded all the way around through the hole or was there open access to the other side?

Don't see how you could weld all around through that opening (but then, you do wonders).

. Glad you enjoyed seeing it. I just did it for a little fun. Next time out I'll do it again. I always end up in strange places 

. Yes I had to cut out that area to gain access to the rear portion of the pin. I did manage to weld all around it and I used the long portion of the welding rod to get at the far most portion of the pin and when the rod got shorter I used it on the closest side of the pin. Well almost like I was riding down the road with you:laughing: Now back in the day,I went on many road trips,,have slept in the truck many times,,think that was my home for several weeks one time on one job[I was poor],,have even entertained woman in it!! Now that was funny :laughing: That's a picture I could visualize after that description :laughing: I'll have to take you along on the next road trip. I could use the laugh :laughing:
