Got to use my spanking new 3005 for snow removal, worked better thani expected for just having a FEL and 800lbs of rear weight block. My implements wont be in until march that includes a snow plow. But i am afraid after the snow melts that my grass might have a couple bald spots :D
Also installed vert exhaust last night and really like the look, dealer had it for a 790 so he gave me a great deal at $195 i had to cut a little off the engine bracket to keep the alternator from hitting, same kit other than that. the hood was much thicker than i expected so i used a air saw and zipped right through it.

IMO compared to a plow, the FEL /bucket is a real pain and takes forever. Push and dump, push and dump, ad infinitum. With the plow, just go for the most part. No dumping time involved and little backup time involved for the most part.
Yesterday, I put the plow on as I had some chores yet that I needed the FEL. What a pleasant removal of snow with the plow and it looked so neat when done. Plus there were no splotches and piles of snow left in the way.

The counter weight is just cement and a steel welded frame with a 2" ball so I can yard my trailers around. Weighs in at exactly 813 lbs. just weld the frame together than use a cement cloth to hold it all together in layers, about 10.

Really looking forward to the plow, but it will be next season before I get to use it. About done for snow here, unless the weather is bad in march.
