Anybody else have trouble getting your ZTR away from your wife so you can mow. Mine did not want me to get one of those 'funny things without a steering wheel'. But I have mowed only four times this year. Mowing time is down from two and a half hours to about an hour. And last year as long as grass was cut all was O.K.. This year it has to be cut in a pattern so the lines are straight or angled or whatever. The height adjustment is in inches, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Now she wants me to come up with a way so she can mow at 3 & 1/2 inches.

Looked up from my trimming today and she was just spinning in cirlces on the driveway. Oh well.

I can't believe a ZTR would only move up in increments of 1-inch. I think there must be a way to move up in 1/2 steps. Have you checked your manual?

If your wife is "mowing" and not just goofing off, what's the problem? If it were me, I'd then have more time to work on those other items on my "To Do" list.

My wife lets me mow about once a year with our ZTR. Can't keep her from mowing. They are fun and quick to drive. However, she does let me sharpen the blades, add gas and change the oil.

If that's true, let a half inch of air either out or in your tires. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I have the Kubota ZD21, its hydraulic deck can be set in half inch increments.

I feel your pain, I have been on our Gravely 6 times this year, 1 time to mow and 5 times to remove it from the garage so I can work on something else. Is your wife doing wheelies yet?

She has not done any wheelies yet (that I know of). But she has mentioned taking it to her dad's house to mow his yard. She has also told all her friends about it. 'We' are now mowing more often than ever before.
