Compact tractor sales down 5% for Feb.05

Well it finally happened, sales of compact tractors were down from the previous year. It's been a run of 6 years at least. I think the yearly sales will surpass last year. Likely winter weather and low dealer stock had more to do with the decline in sales. Demand is still good. The larger utility tractors sales are booming 15% over last years banner year sales figures.

Call me stupid (and I have been before) but wouldn't there have been more than 158 four wheel drive tractors sold this year by now? Are this reports for everything or just farm statistics?

Four wheel drive numbers from AEM are actaully tractors that have all four wheel the same size as I understand it. The 4x4 tractors with differing size front and rear are counted in the two wheel drive total. At least this is what I was once told by some AEM folks.

Seems just the opposite for us. Our sales have been way up over last year. Atleast 50% for us...... Atleast this is the tend where we are..... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
