LS XR4155HC
So I've got over 140 hours on my XR4046HC and I was driving by the LS dealer and wanted to see how the new 3cyl turbo performed compared to my 4cly NA shibaura.
I did a quick test drive and found that the turbo motor was a little rougher at lower RPMs but smoothed out with a few more RPM's
At my altitude of 6800Ft, the turbo also gives it better power across the band. I found that in 3rd gear my 4 cly bogs down when I go to take off, where the turbo motor just takes it and give you the power you want with no lag. I was also able to dig with the bucket in 3rd, this I cannot do with the NA motor.

The interior has a few updates also:
The seat has a better suspension and different fiber
The dash and gauges are updated, more digi
The switches are changed (look more refined)and additional switches for the PTO that I have no clue as to what they do are on the side pillar.
I was told the complete ECM is different than the 40xx series
The A/C system, radio, and all the plastics look the same.
Exhaust is now on the driver side vs the passenger side.
Under the hood still looks cramped behind the radiator
Common rail injection
Turbo looks tiny, its mounted on the pass side
The hood graphics are updated.

My dealer also stated that a price increase for the new year is not likely since the did a significant increase when they released the new tier 4 / 41xx series. That being said it looks like it's about $4k more than the XR40XX series.

I did not test the hydraulics, I wanted to see how fast they were compared to mine as the loader is a different model, the rest should be the same as the pump has not changed.

They also have better sway links that have helmed rod ends, they started this later in the 40xx series production.

Like I've said before my dealer is the high altitude test mule for the new models and he's been easy to deal with.
He actually will not carry the XG series now as he is not satisfied with the motor it currently has. To me this says a lot as he was one of the larges sellers of the G series prior to the motor change. He will not sell a product that he would not use himself.

So does anyone want to make a deal on a XR4046HC with 150ish hours and some nice subtle mod....
Hope this was helpful to someone.

That's correct, one button will raise or lower rpm, the other sets and saves that rpm so you can return to it. Nice for PTO jobs.

Also I didn't compare hydraulic speeds to the older model LS but mine seems on par with other tractors I've used, though the gpm listed is a lower number than most. Not sure if it's just rated differently or the system is just faster with lower flow, but in function the hydraulics are quick enough.
