I found these by chance and thought they were interesting.

Here's how its done here. My grandfather grew rice in Northern California long ago. He had one of the earliest big crawler tractors. I've always been interested in this.

I'll tell you a story of agriculture comparison and do note, that farm in northern California is producing rice for far, far less money than the one in Japan.

I was at by brother-in-laws place some years ago. They were combining winter wheat and it happen to be rather wet fall and had to run it through a dryer before its could be dumped in there storage bins. There was three combines in a distance field, and high speed field wagons with the combines similar to those seen in the CA film. They passed there grain to trucks parked along the fields edge. So a number of trucks, full size road ones were coming and going to where the grain was being dried and where I was chatted with my bro. I asked him how much wheat was in the conveying system of combine storage, wagons and trucks at the fields edge and on the road to where we stood. He thought for a few minutes and said "its 3/4 of a section or wheat".
