Never owned a tractor, would like something to cut five acres, spread dirt or gravel, knock over small stumps, and push a bunch of cut trees around. How does Mahindra measure up to other tractors. Price, power, attatchments ect...
Thanks for your response

Well, I'm sure everyone will have there own opinion but I personally think Mahindra Tractors offer the most "bang for your buck". Mahindra is a huge company that has been building tractors since the 60's. They are among the heaviest tractors in the class and offer a lot of standard features that are optional on some of the others. Price is going to depend on your local dealer but I think you will find that the prices are very competitive. Also, do some research on this site and I think you will be pleased with what you find.

They are high quality and built heavy. The 20-32 HP units are built in Japan by Mitsubishi. You might consider the 3215, or if you are in a big hurry, step up to the 41 HP 4110. If you are really dealing with big trees and huge brush piles, go with a 5500 or 65004wd, but that would seem a little large.

i think you would be happy with a 4110. i recommend getting the ag tires though if you are doing a lot of woods work. i have the industrial tires, and have to use tire chains when doing forestry work to get proper traction. i even had to get a set of front tire chains. as far as power and size go, the 4110 is just the right size for most applications. its not to big, and not to small. good lick with your decision!

Also think about the 3525. It is a 35 hp tractor which can handle a front end loader, (FEL). Will pull a 6' bush hog. It will do the job well. It is a conventional tractor. Should cost in the range of $10,000 to $11,000. A 3525 list for $12,285.00 without the FEL. A 3525 is a remake of an International which Mahindra made for International back in the 60's. Good solid tractor. Doesn't have all the gagets which can go back. Just a solid tractor. Doesn't have 4wd. But I have been around and using tractors for nearly 50 years and never had a 4wd and never really saw I need one either.
