Looks interesting. If you need the portability, I can sure see the usefulness of that approach.

Yes, they seem like t,hey would be handy. JD has acouple also that I might be interested in..
Just curious if the TBN crowd has any experience or learned observations to share.

Thanks Mark for your reply!

Northern Tool has 1 for 4800. Seems a little pricey to me. Definitely would get good use out of it.

For me, I just hook my PTO generator on the tractor and then plug a compressor or welder or ?, into it as needed...

The genset is on a little trailer, just for that reason.

Back in the old days TV, Record Players and Radio (AM ONLY!) were put in a large cabinet. What a great idea!
But then the TV usually went first and you had this very large cabinet that only 2/3 worked.
I would think these fall into this category. A great idea when new but down the road will be a pain.
Also when you have to put one in the shop for repair you put ALL in the shop for repair!

Thanks Stimw, I'm old enough to remember those type of combo units.

So that's why I wanted to see what the experts and experienced uses here on TBN might say.

Several other boards have had positive comments and reviews on these units. They seem to have been popular with some service truck operators.

Deere has a compressorator unit that I've seen in different dealerships. Not sure I would want the welder but that's what I'm trying to decide on.
