Has anyone ever come across a PTO driven compressor? Also, in looking at new compressors, output seems to be rated in SCFS rather than the older CFS that I'm use to seeing. What is the difference and how do you calculate if a new compressor can power an older attachment that is rated in CFS?

I have only seen them rated in CFM. I would guess that CFS would be found by dividing CFM by 60.
For a pto mounted compressor look up "eolomatic" on the web. I have the pto 500 and it is in there. Look under Kontakt for an e mail add. I don't know what language it is, but you can bet they have someone in there that speaks english. At least be able to get you to someone that sells them over here.
I found it on the one that starts with Oil and Diesel. Wish I knew how to put it on here for you folks.

I think you are talking about this:
http://www.diesel-oil.pl/kompresory/kompresory.php?prod=4

To include it click on "URL" under the "Instant Markup"
Then copy the link info from the web page. In this case it is
"http://www.diesel-oil.pl/kompresory/kompresory.php?prod=4"
Then paste this into the two windows that pop up and your good to go.

The same thing is sold in this country under the name "Northstar".

The only problem I see with these is that they are a little on the weak side. Something closer to 11 or 18 SCFM would be much more useful.
