I hope someone can offer advice on this. I can no longer access TBY at home. If I type in the URL I get to the homepage. But if I try togo anywhere else on the site I get an illegal error and my browser shuts down. All other sites I frequent work fine.

With this 4 day holiday that just went by I was suffering from withdrawal so I hope someone can help.

PhilNH5, Just a few questions, What browser are you using? Sometimes things are put on websites that require an upgrade of your browser version. I'm running the newest Internet Explorer. After about 6 years of running Netscape, and having these kinds of problems, I decided to try IE. I still like the setup of Netscape better, but I'm not having as many error problems. I've also reinstalled the browser over top of itself, and had success in the past. It keeps all your settings, and adds files that may have been deleted. Just a few experiences that I had. I hope they help you. Kent

Sounds like you've got a corrupted "cookie".

If you're using Internet Explorer, go to TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS and you'll see a button to delete the cookies.

You can also remove all or selected "cookies" by opening Windows Explorer and going to <font color=red>C:\Windows\Cookies</font color=red> (or, you can copy and paste that path (red text) in your START, RUN window) and deleting all files within that directory. However, that may have adverse affects on other web sites.

There will be at least one TBN cookie in that directory. On my computer, it's named <font color=red>roy jackson@www.tractorbynet[3].txt</font color=red>. There are one or two other TBN cookies as well. The one listed is just the latest.

BEFORE you delete that cookie or cookies, make sure you have your TBN login info handy. You may need it to access the site.

Thanks for the replies. Last night I tried the easy approach first and wiped out my cookies. But that didn't help. Went to Netscape to download the latest version. Started and it said it would take 3 hrs (dial-up modem). Started the process and it crashed 3 times while downloading so I called it quits.

I think I will try to download IE tonight. Thanks again.
